													Why choose a pregnancy course?
Pregnancy is a time of great change, both physically and mentally, especially if it is your first time. You are entering unknown territory with childbirth and the first weeks after the birth of your baby. Although you will undoubtedly receive tips from friends and family, your own preparation for this period is essential.
Antenatal courses are designed to prepare you for what is to come and support you during this stage of your life. Whether you are looking for practical advice, need the company of other expectant mothers, or want to prepare yourself and your partner for the arrival of your baby, there is a course to suit your needs. Plus, antenatal classes are not only informative, but they also offer the chance to make new friends, whether you've recently moved or are just looking for some extra company during your pregnancy. You can choose to take the course together with your partner or individually. It's all about what suits you best.

VitaalOveral: For an active pregnancy
At VitaalOveral it is about more than just a growing belly. Our outdoor Powermama training is specially designed for expectant mothers, available from the 16th week of your pregnancy until delivery, and you can even participate again after birth. Giving birth together: prepare for the birth together with your partner
Giving Birth Together offers both practical information and valuable techniques that you can use together with your partner during childbirth. This course is given in Elburg, Harderwijk and Zwolle. Click here for more information.
Zwangerschapszwemmen in Lelystad: Sportcentrum de Koploper
Zwemmen is één van de sporten die je de hele zwangerschap door kunt beoefenen. In het water ontspannen overbelaste spieren, je voelt je lichter en je zwangere buik zit niet zo in de weg. Hierdoor verlopen bewegingen gemakkelijker en soepeler en worden bloedsomloop en ademhaling gestimuleerd. Bij Sportcentrum De Koploper in Lelystad kun je deelnemen aan zwangerzwemmen, speciaal afgestemd op de behoeften van aanstaande moeders.
Wat kun je verwachten?
Tijdens de lessen werk je op een prettige manier aan je conditie, spierkracht en soepelheid. De oefeningen stimuleren de doorbloeding en helpen je om je lichaam beter voor te bereiden op de bevalling. Daarnaast is er volop aandacht voor ontspanning – even tijd om los te laten en te genieten van het warme water. De lessen worden gegeven door een ervaren en gecertificeerde instructrice die weet wat jouw zwangere lichaam nodig heeft.
Wanneer en wat kost het?
De lessen zwangerzwemmen vinden plaats op:
- Dinsdagavond: 19.30 – 20.15 uur 
- Donderdagochtend: 09.45 – 10.30 uur 
Je kunt deelnemen voor €19,00 per maand, waarmee je vier lessen kunt volgen. Wil je liever eerst ervaren of het bij je past? Dan kun je ook kiezen voor een losse les.

Iedere zwangerschap verloopt anders. Vraag daarom altijd eerst aan je ons of de gynaecoloog of zwangerzwemmen geschikt is voor jou.
